10:00-10:45 KIRKBY STEPHEN SILVER BAND
Kirkby Stephen's oldest and best known band kicks off a morning of great live music for Day Two of the Festival.'
For 170 plus years KSSB have occupied a place in the heart of the community. Led by conductor Ian, the band has gone from strength to strength in the last few years. With new recruits,both novice and experienced, the band can field up to thirty players, including a three piece percussion section. Fresh from their recent concerts, KSSB will be a playing a whole range of joyous and feel good tunes. Who knows, they might take requests.....
11:00-11:45 STEVIE Bs ALL STAR BAND
Guitarist Steve is definitely here to entertain you! A natural showman, he leads his handpicked scratch band from far and wide throughout Cumbria and Yorkshire. Musicians poached from the acoustic nights in local pubs and cafes, Steve has assembled an all star band. Expect the unexpected with this lot, one minute you might get a Motorhead tune, the next, an Adele ballad. This will be 45 minutes of your life well spent.
12:00-12:45 KIM SEYMOUR
Local troubadour Kim will be onhand for all your acoustic needs. A familiar face in Kirkby Stephen his tunesinclude some old ones, some new ones and some you’ve never hear. A talentedvocalist and singer songwriter, you are bound to love his mellow sounds. Comesit, relax and drift away with music that will make you feel warm all over.
13:00-13:45 MORLAND UKELELE GROUP
If you like your music small and with 4 strings you are in for a treat. We are very proud to host MUGS for their first visit to the festival. Hailing from just down the valley and with the sheer number of players in their band, you are almost guaranteed to recognise somebody on the stage. MUGS come to us following a run of successful gigs and have gathered a real following. A real joyous experience awaits
